It is not an easy choice to put a baby up for adoption. We know the choices that you are faced with while making this decision. Facing an unplanned pregnancy or a teenage pregnancy is scary. But the good news is that this doesn’t have to be devastating time for you. At Adoption Miracles we offer kindness, caring, financial support, and counseling to all our birth parents. You are going to have a ton of questions, and while we encourage you to call or text us to discuss your particular situation, we’ve compiled a list of most commonly asked questions from birth moms looking to place a baby for adoption.

If you are looking to place a baby for adoption, the first step is to call us so we can start helping you right away. We will discuss your immediate needs and situation. We will also start discussing an adoption plan.
When you are ready, a highly skilled, caring adoption counselor will meet with you in total confidentiality at your convenience. You may select the adoptive family for your baby or leave that up to us. If you wish, you can meet the family you have chosen prior to the baby’s birth or speak with them on the phone.
We taylor each adoption plan to the birthmother’s wishes to maker her comfortable with her decision.
At Adoption Miracles we offer you medical care, counseling, and maternity-related expenses such as rent, transportation, utilities, maternity clothing, and food allowance. Plus we can help you figure out how continue your education. We will continue to assist you for 6 to 8 weeks after the adoption. We want a brighter future for both you and your baby. When you place a baby for adoption you should feel hopeful, not just frightened.
We are an open adoption agency. Which means that every prospective adoptive family at Adoption Miracles agrees to at least a semi-open adoption.
When you put your baby up for adoption, we draw up an adoption plan. It details how involved you would like to be with your child as they grow. This could mean letters and pictures provided through the agency or regular opportunities to spend time with the child. You get to decide how much you want to see your baby and care for him or her.
Yes! Yes! and Yes! When you place a baby for adoption, we will talk with you about your special preferences for an adoptive family, such as religious beliefs, siblings, or a family with a stay-at-home parent.
All of our families have completed an approved homestudy and undergone a thorough background check BEFORE they are presented to birthmothers.
You can review prospective family details through letters, pictures, and written information collected by Adoption Miracles. We fully screen all of our adoptive families. You can meet them in person before or after the birth of your child. Many of our birth moms build caring and trusting relationships with the adoptive family. In some situations, you may decide to leave the choice of an adoptive family to us and that’s okay too.
We will do everything we can to ensure that you and your baby are provided for. We will help you find a doctor, assist with transportation, provide food and clothing allowance and rent payments during your pregnancy.
Plus, your emotional and spiritual health is important to us too. Therefore, you will have 24/7 access to your adoption counselor.
No matter what time of day or night, it is important to contact Adoption Miracles and let us know you are going to the hospital. You will have the personal cell phone number of the counselor you are working with. There is always a caring person who will answer your call, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
Most women stay in the hospital for 24 to 48 hours after delivery, and you can have as much contact with your baby as you wish. Your adoption counselor will visit you to discuss your feelings and help you arrange plans for the adoption. You may want the adoptive family to spend time with you in the hospital. Some women even choose to have the adoptive parents present during the birth.
When you place a baby for adoption with Adoption Miracles we are here for you during and after your pregnancy. We do not disappear. We are committed to helping you throughout the adoption process as well as afterward. Adoption counseling services are available to you during your pregnancy and after the adoption. We will also help you find a job or go back to school so that you can have a bright future.
