My Story
I just didn’t feel well. I was 24 and I was dealing with what I thought was stomach problems induced by stress. It just kept getting worse and I set up a doctors appointment. I figured she’d give me a strong antacid. Instead, she gave me a pregnancy test. It came up positive and my world collapsed. I was on birth control. I was preparing to go back to school. My husband’s income couldn’t provide for us. I DID NOT WANT TO BE PREGNANT!
Personally, I wasn’t prepared to get an abortion, but I didn’t feel prepared to raise a child either. I spent 9 months in a state of constant fear and the 6 months after the pregnancy dealing with post-partum depression.
I’m here to tell you that it doesn’t have to be that way. The Adoption Miracle’s Pregnancy Center can do for you what I wish had been done for me. They can provide you with counsel, resources, and options.
